Money is Energy
I believe that each generation, and each individual, has a spiritual calling. Our biggest challenge (should we choose to accept it) is to bring our talents out into the world. Once we have discovered what it is we are meant to do, in order to share our gifts in this 21st Century world, we must come to terms with money.
When I first heard the phrase money is energy I had absolutely no idea what it meant. Slowly, I began to understand that we must have an exchange for the life energy that we expend. Our life energy is precious because it is limited, and our choices about how we use that energy express the meaning and purpose of our time here on earth. If we give out more energy than we get back, we become out of balance. For instance, if you feel resentful, you may be giving out more energy than you are getting in return. As if that weren’t bad enough, we then often blame ourselves for being resentful instead of honoring the body’s feedback. This leads to burnout and illness. In order to serve others we cannot be burned-out or sick or resentful, we must be well-nourished and taken care of. In order to find wholeness and remain in balance, we must direct our energy toward our deepest vision and understand that an exchange for that energy is natural.
Coming to a better relationship with money does not mean immersing yourself in that dry, left-brained stuff. And it doesn’t mean imitating “successful” people you do not respect. It means integrating your vision of success with your sense of personal integrity. “Success” is not about getting more money, it’s about finding your occu-passion and joyously moving toward your own unique vision in a way that is consistent with your personal integrity. It’s about living your deepest vision at your own personal growing edge.
Creating the life that you want is a process. As you begin to build a future based on your most deeply cherished beliefs and goals, you’ll discover what you truly need and develop the means to have it. Finding the proper relationship between energy outlay and energy intake can be a natural and fulfilling part of your life. When you are energetically in balance, your relationship with money becomes whole, and healed, and effortless.
